About Us

My architectural journey has evolved further in recent years as I’ve had the privilege of practicing in the vibrant and dynamic city of Portland, Oregon. This new chapter of my career has allowed me to integrate the unique character and design ethos of the Pacific Northwest into my work.

Drawing from my Mexican heritage, Arizona-Sonora upbringing, and academic foundation, I majored in architecture at Arizona State University and pursued additional coursework at community colleges in the Phoenix Arizona metropolitan area. My education, coupled with my recent practice in Portland, has equipped me with valuable knowledge in expediting building permits for residential projects.

I also pursued my architectural major while simultaneously working in the construction field to pay for my schooling. This hands-on experience provided me with a deep understanding of the practical aspects of building, enhancing my ability to translate architectural concepts into real-world structures.

I have been offering my architectural CAD services online for about 5 years, and I have around 20 years of experience offering my home drafting services in the greater Portland Oregon-PDX Area, including Vancouver, Clark County, and Washington. I have also drafted plans for residential projects in Sacramento and Santa Barbara, California. Prior to that, I worked on projects in towns in Maryland, Virginia, and Utah. I gained my knowledge and expertise in framing homes while attending college in Arizona.

The house plans and design sheets I work on usually include the following

To initiate your online drafting service

  • Email hand-drawn sketches, building records, pictures of the existing home, as-built plans, or any other necessary information about your project.
  • Once I have that information, I can provide you with an estimate for pricing and turnaround time. You will receive the estimate within one day.
  • If you approve the drafting estimate, I will collect a down payment (33% of the estimated total price) via PayPal. A few days after that, you will receive an email with a preliminary floor plan for your review and revision. Once you mark all the revisions, you can send them back to me. We will work on the floor plan back and forth a few times until you are satisfied with the result.
  • Once we agree on the floor plan results, I will proceed to draft the rest of the sheets (Site Plan, Exterior Elevation, Sections, etc.).
  • Effective communication via email is necessary to complete the whole set of building plans.
  • The entire plan drafting process typically takes about 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the size of your project.
  • Once your project plans are complete, they will be delivered to you via PayPal. That’s when the final payment is collected, and a warranty for changes up to 90 days comes into effect.
  • With the project drawings in your possession, you can either submit them to third parties like Structural Engineers (if required) or present them to your building department for permitting.
  • Corrections requested by the Structural Engineers, trades, or building departments are provided at no extra cost as part of the warranty mentioned above.
  • All my plans are designed to meet state building codes, so you can contact me from anywhere in the United States. I have even drawn plans for the island of Hawaii, although most of the projects I work on are from the west coast.
